"Page generated in 27.76881 seconds with 233 queries "

Has anyone else had problems with huge query count? I am running 1.0.6.2. Everything else on my site loads really quick. this is the main forum load time info. "Page generated in 0.12446 seconds with 14 queries "

We've got about 1200 images with subcatagorys and all that fun stuff.

Site is www.animesanction.net

Thanks for your help.

Working on it. Watch for PhotoPlog Lite v.1.0.9. Just out of curiosity, how many main PhotoPlog categories do you have set? Can't see, no guests allowed.

Thanks. I've got 10 main categories and 25 sub-categories. If you need any sort of access to my site just lemme know. I'll make a user/pass for ya.

FYI: PhotoPlog Lite v.1.0.9 released. How are your query counts after upgrade?

well i don't know how many queries i had in the main part i just installed the Microstats, but with 4 Main categories and 13 subcategories i have
Page generated in 0.14671 seconds with 23 queries and after some refresh Page generated in 0.08419 seconds with 14 queries . The load difference between 1.0.8 and 1.0.9 though is remarkable

Just an FYI: the sub-categories with Lite v.1.0.9 no longer matter towards main page query count but instead are now as in this (http://www.photoplog.com/forum/showpost.php?p=515&postcount=4) post. Lite v.1.0.9 does similar to a cron job, depending on the 'Update Categories' and 'Cache Categories' settings. When it's time for the main page categories block to be updated, there will be extra queries, up to four 'query_first' queries per main category, so it's good to keep main categories to a minimum. Otherwise, when in cache mode if you will, the main page categories block doesn't add those extra categories. This 'improvement' is on top of the removal of other useless queries, ones that were in place at some other point for whatever reason. It was time for a Lite cleanup.

If anyone has more numbers to share, I'd be glad to hear them. :)
