Missing Navbar
 

After I installed this via default template I lost my entire navbar its weird because the navbar is showing on all the other styles I have just not the VB default one I am not sure what might have caused it I have been through the navbar navlink forumhome etc files looking for anything thats different than the other styles and they are all the same so I am thinking maybe something to do with the fact I installed it on default and now my default navbar is gone help please I really want to use this and will go pro once a stable version comes out any help please :)

Do you have an entry in the Duplicate Directory setting in the vB ACP?

If you tell me what that is and where to check it I would be happy too but I see nothing of the sort and I am kinda a noob not to forums but to VBs ACP

ETA found it and no I don't have a entry and my forums is in just the root or my directory if that helps

Leave the Duplicate Directory blank. ;)

Do you mean the navbar doesn't show on all PhotoPlog pages under the Default template, or just the 'not logged in' message? Can't see other pages, no guests allowed.

Ok I got the links all working right now here is the thing if you go to my site is http://www.dreamingofbaby.com/forumindex.php?styleid=1

You will notice the top navbar is completely gone has been gone since I installed the gallery but if you make that styleid=2 the navbar is fine I am not understanding where in the world my navbar went

the links on the gallery are all working right now and the sub navbar with upload etc for the gallery is there and working just not my main navbar

if you change to another style other than default its there and working as it should though..I don't understand where my navbar went is there something that was changed in my template files for default that would have maybe had a bad effect on the navbar?

What I see in your non-default skins is that the 'nav buttons bar' bit was moved above the 'breadcrumb, login, pm info' bit, from the navbar template to header template, but for the default skin, looking at the HTML source, the only thing for 'nav buttons bar' I see is the following:
PhotoPlog wouldn't affect how your forumindex.php page looks, unless you add thumbs, so I'd say that the 'nav buttons bar' bit wasn't moved to the header template in the default skin, but rather it was just deleted from the navbar template and that's why you don't see it.

Your right my header is missing alot..I tried to revert it and a no go not sure what to do now off to find a copy of the default header template see if I can get it working thanks for your help this was the only thing I edited/installed today so not sure what happened

Thank You :) I got it working I would not have even known where to start without your help my complete navbar links had been edited out of my navbar file for some reason I had not edited it I don't know what happened but you put me in the right place to find the problem :) if all goes well when configing it and getting it running I can assure you a pro version will be gotten by me thanks again :)
