Check the following threads about www and double logins. The post here shows you how to force the www onto links.
For forum home thumbs, check that you added $photoplog_forumhome to all vB FORUMHOME templates if there is no parent style with the same edit or the FORUMHOME template of the child style is different than the parent style.
