Default Pre Questions Before Buying

I'm really interested in buying a license for Photoplog since I heard that Photo Post/ vB Gallery had a lack of support on the issue of what I'm concerned about.

I have a few questions:

1. Do you offer support for Integration with vBadvanced? Since Photo Post seems to lack that in their script and support even though they say they do. Obvious fail

2. Is this program set up so none of the images can be hotlinked or ran from stress testing program/site causing my server to fail? ><

3. Also do you offer an instillation fee? Seen as I'm busy these days and might not have time to install it myself and leaving me free of panic if I fail ^^

1: While I try to help with vBa integration, I cannot say that I am always successful because I don't use vBa and am not familiar with its code. If I know the answer, then I will tell you the answer. If I don't know the answer, then I will say that I don't know the answer. If you seek custom coding as part of support, please note that coding custom modifications is really outside the realm of support, so I won't provide custom modifications. Sorry.

2: PhotoPlog Pro allows you to set the image links to be dynamic whereby the path to the image is hidden and permissions are checked before displaying the image. However, this uses extra queries and system resources and is not recommended for that reason. If you want to stop hotlinking with an htaccess file, there is a generator here.

3: No installation service is offered. The installation itself is pretty straightforward. For new installations you need to set your server path and table prefix, FTP the files, set 777 permissions on a directory, import the XML product file via the ACP, set some ACP settings and permissions, create categories, and start uploading files.

The installation instructions are in the main README.txt file that comes with the PhotoPlog ZIP package. Lite and pro installations are pretty similar. If you want to read the lite installation instructions, check here.

Apparently only our site owner can read that page ("You cannot view code until you prove your license status"). Is it too much to ask to read the darn instructions?

If your site owner wants to add your email address so you can access vBorg content, s/he can do so here.
