Default Can lightbox be turned off?

See title. I don't like that stuff that much.

Sorry that you don't like the effect, but Lightbox is going to be left on in the forums. If you mean the gallery, that is using Highslide, and it too is going to be left on. This allows people to demo the features and check compatibility. One suggestion for you is to turn off JavaScript in your browser if you don't want to see the effect.

But IIRC you can turn off Highslide on *your* forum using photoplog, it's controlled by settings in the ACP.

If you're asking about turning it off here on the photoplog.com site, then that's obviously entirely up to Morgan.

Personally, most of the folks on our site love highslide, it's much nicer than lightbox and gives a really handy way to use small thumbs but have a larger image readily available without leaving the page you're on. YMMV widely of course... ::shrug::

Of course I meant to have it turned off on my own site. :-)
