Default Safe mode restriction in effect but safe mode is off

Hi, i get the same error.
I've tried chmoding all directories to 777 but no change:
Code:
Content visible to registered users only.
And over the header i get this:
Code:
Content visible to registered users only.
And safe mode is off.

When you look at your PHP info page, do you see the following:
Code:
Content visible to registered users only.
If you edited the php.ini file, did you do a restart afterwards? Does recompiling PHP with safe mode off have any effect? Also check http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=38566 to see if it's applicable.
